We've had a few chilly days here. And often when we're looking for something to do, we put the kids in their swimsuits and tell them they get to get in the hot tub! But we really put them in the bathtub in our bathroom and put on the bubbles. They don't know any different. They love it.
My sweet niece, Sarah (babysitter extraordinaire), did this with them when she babysat for us last. But she also took pictures!
What do you do with your kiddos when it's cold out? We're wusses here. Ruthie is not a fan (to put it mildly) of the cold weather. We have been watching wayyyyy too much tv and playing wii. I searched "kids yoga" on youtube the other day. Fun. But only 10 minutes. Anything else? Anything? Anyone? Hello? Is this thing on?

Since I've had my babies in places where winter seems to last FOREVER, I've learned craft projects are fun...we also cook and bake a lot, and play board games in homemade forts made with sheets. Good luck!
I took the boys bowling yesterday, also we built things with marshmallows and pretzels! It was a fun time!

Love those photos!! Too cute!! Do you guys have any indoor bounce houses or anything like that? That's a good way to use up energy on a cold day. Or some malls have indoor playgrounds. I second the indoor fort idea and then you can extend it by having snack in the fort. Good luck!! I wish I lived in warmer weather, these winter months can be tough!
these kiddos are TOO cute!!! : ) we are doing lots of puzzles inside lately and also making homemade obstacle courses. fun times but I will be ready for warmer weather soon!!!
