We had the Parent Commitment Celebration at our church last night.
We tried to prepare Ruthie for being on stage. Eli kept saying "I hope she's not squirmy wormy like I was!" Because 4 years ago when we did this with him, he was crawling all over the stage.
Ruthie did amazingly well. She stayed in Ben's arms the whole time. She waved to our family.
And she kept leaning over to me and grabbing me around the neck and whispering "I love my mommy!"
And after it was all said and done, she exclaimed "I love being on stage!"
Eli was so excited for Ruthie's big day. He was adamant about wearing a tie.
Adorable.
They're not perfect, but they're pretty darn close.
