I dropped the kids off at school today. It was hat day. While waiting in line, I looked back at Eli and asked if I could take his picture.
"Sure! And you can have my autograph!"
I don't know how he comes up with this stuff. But he makes me laugh every day.
I just love him. But that's never been a secret around here.
After we drop Eli off, Ruthie and I have about 15 minutes before she goes to class. We normally go inside and play store in the hall. (If you ever play store with her, load up on items from her store. Because no matter how much or how little you get, she always announces the total to be "four dollars". It's incredibly cute.)
But today, she spotted her notebook in my purse and asked if she could draw.
She loves to draw. And how sweet is she? She's so easy to love.
Often times I find her little doodles on my wall, floor, or cabinet - so this was a nice change.
I'm going to miss these moments some day.

I'm new to your blog but just read some of your story. We are in the process of adopting our little girl from Ethiopia and I'm eager, anxious, nervous, excited, etc. Just wanted to thank you for sharing your story because it's helping prepare me for what lies ahead.
Your children are absolutely beautiful, by the way.
We are also in process of adopting a little girl. So exciting!!!
